Malaysia’s IPI will increase 3.9% in Feb 2022, pushed by manufacturing progress


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s Industrial Manufacturing Index (IPI) elevated 3.9 per cent in February 2022 in contrast with the identical month of the earlier 12 months, pushed by the expansion within the manufacturing sector, the Division of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM).

“Concurrently, the expansion of the manufacturing sector was pushed by each domestic-oriented trade (6.2 per cent) and export-oriented trade (4.7 per cent).”
