LABUAN: The Labuan containerised port of Labuan Liberty Wharf is able to dealing with the inflow of vessels from the Southern Philippines if barter commerce is allowed to renew, based on the Malaysian Malay Chamber of Commerce (DPMM) Labuan president Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman stated.
He stated DPMM Labuan is in favor of the proposed revival of the island’s conventional enterprise exercise which had benefited the native companies.
“We’re very supportive of the proposal and we’re very optimistic Labuan can regain its financial glory with the revival of the commerce.
“We have now witnessed how the commerce grew to become the sport changer to the enterprise panorama on this duty-free island previously,” he stated after internet hosting Iftar Ramadan to orphans, folks with disabilities, tahfiz college students and single moms not too long ago. — Bernama
