KUALA LUMPUR: Khazanah Nasional Bhd has accomplished a placement of 105 million shares (1%) in CIMB Group Holdings Bhd at RM5.10 per share, elevating gross proceeds of RM535.5mil.
It mentioned the position value represented a 3.4% low cost to the closing market value of RM5.28 on April 13, 2022.
“The share placement train is a part of Khazanah’s ongoing efforts to rebalance its portfolio and recycle its investments into new property in Malaysia and globally, together with new investments beneath Dana Impak,” the sovereign wealth fund mentioned in a press release.
Following the position, Khazanah stays the only largest shareholder of CIMB at 24.7%. — Bernama
